I have tried to modify my single-draftedness and have succeeded a teeny bit. It's part of letting in some imperfection. SB's advice to me (which I hear in my head ALL the time) when I had a similar breakdown was "finish one thing. Then finish another. You will gain energy from the finishing." It's true. I hear you. Thank you thank you thank you. I always HATED when I had to turn in drafts (even to you) before I turned in the paper. "If it wasn't done" I thought "then why did I write it?" Usually my drafts almost always ended up being identical to my final paper because I had already written it. Even now, when I have a post in mind, I chew on it for a long time before I start typing because I do much better work in my head than on the paper. So we are right there sister. I hear you.
